NATP impact case studies
Read our case studies to find out about the positive impact NATP training is having on staff working with autistic people in services.
The National Autism Trainer Programme (NATP) is a ground-breaking train the trainer programme run by Anna Freud in partnership with AT-Autism, commissioned by NHS England. It aims to improve outcomes for both diagnosed and undiagnosed autistic people by enhancing professionals’ understanding and skills.
The case studies below are real-life examples of the impact that NATP training has had during its first year of being rolled out. This learning has been shared by delegates who have completed the NATP train the trainer course and are now working to train staff in their local services, and embed the values and ethos of NATP in their everyday practice, to improve outcomes for autistic people.
Read the case studies below to learn more about these delegates’ experiences, and how NATP training positively impacts autistic people in services, as well as their families and carers.
