About this training

This will be an intensive training course in mentalization-based treatment (MBT) for the treatment of borderline and other personality disorders. The MBT Basic Training is made up of 3 days of in-person, instructor-led content.

Aims of this training

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • describe the mentalizing problems of BPD

  • recognise mentalizing and non-mentalizing interventions

  • develop and maintain a mentalizing therapeutic stance

  • use basic mentalizing techniques in their everyday clinical work in group and individual psychotherapy.
