Want to find out about CAMHS? New online resource launched!
My CAMHS Choices is a new website that features videos of young people and professionals talking about Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
It has been created by the Evidence Based Practice at the Anna Freud Centre, along with Young Minds and Off the Record, Bristol. Over a three year project, these organisations have worked with young people who have used mental health services to improve the information out there about CAMHS.
The website features lots of video interviews with young people and professionals answering questions you might have about CAMHS, such as:
- "What is a diagnosis and what if I don't want one?"
- "What can I do if the help isn't working?"
- "What choices do I have about who I work with?"
In the final release version now available you can also submit videos talking about your experiences of CAMHS.
