The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families Chief Executive presents evidence in parliament
Professor Peter Fonagy, Chief Executive of the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, has been presenting evidence to MPs at the House of Commons health select committee.
He joined four other experts advising a health select committee inquiry into the state of child and adolescent mental health services in the UK.
The inquiry was set up following concerns raised about the extent to which children and adolescents are affected by mental health problems and the difficulties that young people face gaining access to appropriate treatment.
The discussion was broadcast live and can be viewed on the parliament website.
