Raising Awareness at Regent’s Place
Last Thursday a team from Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families descended on Regent’s Place near Warren Street for an awareness event supported by the Mayor of Camden, Nadia Shah.
At the event, people from the vicinity were able to find out about our work and try our SmartGym technology, with the fitlights reaction response activity proving particularly popular. It was also pleasing to see such an active bunch with a lot of expressed interest in our 10 marathon spots available through our work as one of the Heads Together campaign’s partner charities.
For those interested in applying to run the Virgin Money London Marathon 2017 for us, there’s still time! Head to the Heads Together website and select Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families by the end of September. Nadia managed to encourage one person to apply on the spot!
The Centre is Nadia’s chosen charity of the year, and to date we have worked together on events and communications to raise awareness of mental ill health in the borough and further afield.
