Defeating Teenage Depression – book launch invitation

Please join us to celebrate the the release of Dr Roslyn Law’s new book, 'Defeating Teenage Depression – getting there together'.

Dr Roslyn Law is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Deputy Director CYP IAPT at the Centre. We are delighted to announce the release of Dr Roslyn Law’s new book, 'Defeating Teenage Depression – getting there together'.

The book is an accessible guide to combatting depression for teenagers, using Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Adolescents (IPT-A).

This practical guide uses techniques based on Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Adolescents (IPT-A) which has been used to help children and young people with depression around the world. IPT-A helps them to develop their own story of what is happening in their life so that they can understand their depression and how to get out of it.

To celebrate the release we will be hosting a book launch on Thursday, 22nd September at the Freud Museum (17:30 – 20:30). There will be an opportunity to hear from the author, purchase the book and drinks and nibbles are provided too. Places are free, but as space is limited, please register your attendance here: IPT-A book launch We do hope you can join us!

If you would like to purchase a copy of the book, please visit Little Brown Book publishers, here.

We would like to congratulate Roslyn on this wonderful achievement and wish her latest book every success!
