Jo Billington

Jo is a researcher in the Centre for Autism at the University of Reading where her work focuses on the subjective experiences of autistic children in mainstream primary schools.

Her research and teaching aims to enhance the wellbeing of autistic children and young people through increased public understanding and acceptance of difference and diversity, particularly within the education system.

Jo’s passion for improving outcomes for autistic people stems from her personal experience of being a parent to two autistic boys.
